Graduates in general education
Seventeen Peninsula residents graduated with a Certificate Two in General Education for Adults at a special ceremony held at Woy Woy Leagues Club on December 10.
Member for Robertson Ms Belinda Neal was special guest at the graduation ceremony and said she was proud to see 36 students from the Central Coast complete the course.
"This is a great program that offers an alternative for young people who have a lot to contribute but do not fit into mainstream education," Ms Neal said.
"These graduates have demonstrated great commitment to complete their equivalent of Year 10 to prepare themselves for employment or further education."
The Break Thru program offers young people the opportunity to be re-educated after leaving school before completing the School Certificate.
