Playground 'fixed by Christmas'
Repairs to the Pelican Park Playground at Fisherman's Wharf in Woy Woy are expected to be completed by Christmas in time for the busy holiday period, according to Gosford Council media officer Ms Alison Hood.
Ms Hood confirmed that the replacement of the wharf around Woy Woy tidal baths would continue in February next year once the school holiday period was over.
"The tidal baths are still open for use for swimming," Ms Hood said.
"If boats require access there is still the public wharf available on the opposite side of the fish and chip shop."
